I did my first big project together with my great childhood idol Anne Marie Helger. All dresses in this book were created by Lars Andersen and Johanne Helger. The dresses have come to life at the theatre, on TV shows and in countless demonstrations.
My idea was to interpret the dresses and give them a story by creating a figure placed in a universe where I could imagine this figure to appear. Some characters and figures was developed by Anne Marie herself used for entertainment over time at the theater and TV shows, and other figures I created for the purpose based on the costume. This resulted in 24 pictures, each with their own expression. It took us a little over a year to photograph and put together the 24 images to achieve the right expression. It was a fantastic time with Anne Marie! Thanks!
