I have been working with photography for 20 years. I started out in 2005 as a self skilled photographer after a great period of two years time assisting the famed danish fashion photographer Leif Schiller.
As a photographer I love working with portrait photography. Being photographed can sometimes be a very odd situation so for me it’s very important to make the portrayed feel safe and comfortable in front of the camera and achieve the best result and emotion for the job.
For the last 13 years I’ve been working as a professional retoucher too. “Everything is possible in retouch, but the tricky part is to make you feel at home in the picture and fall in love in what you see.” For the last 10 years I have been working intensely with interior retouch for some of the most reputable furniture and interior manufacturers in Denmark in cooperation with the very best interior photographers and stylists in Denmark. In recent years I have furthermore expanded my practice into AI Art. For me, AI is a creative extension of my photographic eye – a way to explore visual ideas, moods and concepts that are not always possible to capture on set. I approach AI with the same sense of composition, emotion and detail that guides my photography and retouching, and I use it both as a stand-alone artistic tool and as part of the creative process in developing new visual directions.
